Akrilan 103 is styrene-acrylic dispersion with particle size of 0.065 microns. It is recommended for the production of primers for deep penetration in mineral surfaces and absorption of wood.

MFFT
  • MFFT of Akrilan 103 can be decreased by use of coalescent in formulations, these are: Chemsol ME P, Chemsol IBE P, Texanol, butyl-(di)-glycol acetate.
Safety
  • The usual safety precautions when handling chemicals must be observed. These include thorough ventilation of the workplace, good skin care and wearing of protective goggles.
Storage
  • Akrilan 103 has a shelf life of 6 months from delivery date if stored at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C in tightly closed original containers. As other dispersions, Akrilan 103 is sensitive to presence of Fe, Cu, Zn, Al. Avoid contacting with these metals or their alloys. This applies not only to storage tanks, but also to pipelines, mixers, production tanks, etc.
