Akrilan 106 is recommended for the production of water dispersion paints and varnishes. It is best suited for the production of decorative plasters and sealants. It has high acid and alkali resistance.

  • MFFT of Akrilan 106 can be decreased by use of coalescent in formulations.
Safety
  • The usual safety precautions when handling chemicals must be observed. These include thorough ventilation of the workplace, good skin care and wearing of protective goggles.
Storage
  • Akrilan 106 has a shelf life of 6 months from delivery date if stored at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C in tightly closed original containers. As other dispersions, Akrilan 106 is sensitive to presence of Fe, Cu, Zn, Al. Avoid contacting these metals or their alloys. This applies not only to storage tanks, but also to pipelines, mixers, production tanks, etc.
