Akrilan 111 is a product of special application. It is recommended for the production of water-dispersion silicate and fire-retardant paints and metal coatings. It has high mechanical stability, resistance to liquid glass and electrolytes, and high adhesion characteristics. It is compatible with flame-retardants.

  • Waterborne dispersion of acrylic acid butyl ether, acrylic acid, acrylic acid amide and styrene copolymer. Does not contain plasticizers or solvents.

MFFT
  • MFFT can be decreased by use of coalescent in formulations, these are: Butyl Diglycol Acetate, Butylglycol, Texanol, Netscout 795. Take into account that viscosity of the dispersion after the introduction of coalescence will be changed.
Safety
  • The usual safety precautions when handling chemicals must be observed. These include thorough ventilation of the workplace, good skin care and wearing of protective goggles.
Storage
  • Akrilan 111 has a shelf life of 6 months from delivery date if stored at temperatures between 2°C and 40°C in tightly closed original containers. As other dispersions, Akrilan 111 is sensitive to presence of Fe, Cu, Zn, Al. Avoid contacting these metals or their alloys. This applies not only to storage tanks, but also to pipelines, mixers, production tanks, etc.
